Another delightful happening in our life!!!!!
Who would of thought that we would be living in Panama - we bought this little casa 2 years ago on a trip down to visit some friends. We had been looking for a vacation home and a place to retire. Did a lot of research on Panama and found that it is one of the top 10 places in the world to retire - the government is very stable - no money issue and can get AFFORDABLE health insurance. The house is in a small Panamanian community (Boqueron) - we are the only gringos in the village. The public transportation is amazing - we just walk to the end of the street and catch a bus or taxi - don't really need a car.
Te main thing that brought us to this area - we are about 15 minutes from the second largest city in Panama (David) - 45 minutes from Costa Rica and ~30 minutes from the Pacific - by air we are 35 minutes from the Caribbean and Bocas Town.
We really didn't know what we were going to end up with - what a shock when we got there - the house is beautiful.
